Yeah, the first is pencil, the second is charcoal. I can't get the hang of charcoal, makes me feel clumsy. I only like it when I ignore accuracy a bit and concentrate on flow and line quality. Seeing charcoal drawings like http://nathanfowkes.blogspot.com/ this guy does, makes me wanna cry (plus, everything else he does is awesome on top of that).

I feel the same with charcoal, tried it once and couldn't make any use of it. I think you're pretty good with it though.
