The Noble Hobo.

An extract from my highly unpresentable looking sketchbook (the two characters have no relation to each other, stuff just overlaps alot when I'm drawing), and a couple of early attempts at a portrait.

More of these fat head things, kind of fun to draw.

I had an idea a while back when I was meant to be working, for an illustration where a big fat head is smack in the middle of my office staring at the back of my head whilst I'm working. That is what these are based on.

Something a little different, a tattoo for a friend. The chinese character is an existing tattoo on her right hip and she wants it to go around her side and up her back to below her shoulder blade. Which means it's about half done as I'll need to extend it more and add some other stuff.

Sketch binge.

I know, I know, this is a poor effort over an entire week, but I'm in a little bit of a rut at the moment and can't seem to get anything right. But I shall persevere.

And another. Didn't do any studies yesterday so this makes up for it.

Quick study.

Hmmm, not sure if this is too drab and pastelly, was originally going to a more pink based colour scheme, but thought it was too girly for the subject.

Laura Marling portrait wip. Not drawing much lately so I'm going to attempt to make one illustration per week, and at lest one decent study or lots of smaller ones per day....AT THE SAAME TIIIME!

And also, why not, try and double the amount of posts that I made in 2008 for 2009. So that's 74 in total, how does that grab ya?

The last one is something I did for work (wow), and the rest are just more of the usual, slightly sexually charged, studies.

Had a fun sketch binge tonight, this here's probably the better of the lot.

Possible tattoo designs.

Two drawings done on holiday, although they could of been done anywhere. Should have done more but the holiday was mostly spent boozing then recovering. I don't fair well in hot climates either (excuses, excuses!).

WIP, I'll finish it once I get back from holiday.

Quickly coloured it, can't really spend as much time on it as I'd like. Still need to put something in that massive void on the left...I'm thinking a pulp fictiony book title, or movie title.
